Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live (16 where local law requires it). If you are under 18, you may use MajorWorth only with a parent or guardian's permission, and they accept these Terms with you. If you use MajorWorth for an organization, you confirm you may bind it.

• Give accurate information and keep your email address current.
• Keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
• One account per person. Do not share, sell or transfer your account.
• Tell us at deaznunoois@gmail.com immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

MajorWorth is an informational and educational research tool. It helps you compare majors, see career options, understand pay and job-outlook data, and make more informed plans. MajorWorth is not a career counselor, academic advisor, financial advisor, recruiter, employment agency, lender, or law firm, and nothing on MajorWorth is career, academic, admissions, financial, tax, immigration, medical or legal advice. We do not guarantee admission, graduation, a job, an offer, a salary, debt payoff, or any other outcome. Decisions about your education, money and career are yours; consider consulting a qualified professional at your school.

• Pay, job outlook, education and workforce figures come from public government sources, which are periodically revised and may lag the market. Sources are listed on our sources page.
• Where an exact match does not exist, we label the closest official occupation and say so on the figure.
• ROI scores, difficulty ratings, tier placements, debt-payoff years and similar scores are MajorWorth estimates and editorial judgments, not official statistics or predictions.
• Figures are national or regional aggregates. Your school, location, experience and employer will change your real numbers.

• AI features produce automated output that can be inaccurate, outdated, biased or fabricated. Verify anything important before relying on it.
• Content you submit is processed by third-party AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit sensitive identifiers or another person's confidential information.
• You are responsible for what you do with AI output, including anything you submit to a school, employer or platform. Do not present AI-generated claims as facts about your experience.
• AI usage is subject to fair-use limits and abuse protection. We may throttle, queue or suspend AI access to protect the service, and AI providers or models may change or be discontinued.

You keep ownership of everything you submit — goals answers, rankings, saved content and messages ("Your Content"). You grant MajorWorth a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, analyze, combine, modify and display Your Content and the information we collect about your use of MajorWorth ("Your Data") to operate, secure and improve the service, provide the features you request, develop new products, and conduct research. You confirm you have the rights to submit Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or contain unlawful material. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

• Analysis: we may analyze Your Data, including with AI and analytics tools, to understand how students choose majors and careers and to improve MajorWorth.
• Anonymized and grouped data: we may create data that is de-identified or combined with other users' data so it cannot reasonably identify you, and we may use, share, license and sell it for any lawful purpose, including to schools, employers, researchers and other partners.
• Personal data: we may share or sell personal data with partners such as schools, scholarship and education providers, employers and marketing partners, as described in our Privacy Policy and subject to your choices below.
• Your choice: you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data at any time on our Do Not Sell or Share My Info page or by emailing deaznunoois@gmail.com.
• Users under 16: we do not sell or share the personal data of users we know are under 16 unless they opt in (or, for users under 13, a parent or guardian opts in for them).
• We follow applicable privacy laws, and where a law gives you additional rights over your data, those rights apply.

• Shareable links: when you share a tier list, ranking or comparison, the link encodes your selections and anyone who has it can view them. Do not share links containing anything you want kept private.
• Your posts: you may screenshot, record and post MajorWorth screens to TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and similar platforms, including monetized accounts, as long as you do not imply MajorWorth endorses you, alter our figures or source labels, or strip attribution when you cite our data.
• Platform rules: your posts are also governed by that platform's terms. MajorWorth is not responsible for content on third-party platforms, or for how those platforms use your data.
• Our marks: the MajorWorth name, logo and look are ours. You may reference MajorWorth factually, but you may not use our branding in a way that suggests partnership, sponsorship or affiliation without written permission.
• Others' marks: school names, employer names and logos shown on MajorWorth belong to their owners. Their appearance is factual reference only and does not imply affiliation with or endorsement by them.
• Feedback you send us may be used freely without obligation or compensation.

• Do not scrape, crawl, bulk-download, resell, sublicense or republish MajorWorth content or data as a competing dataset or product.
• Do not reverse engineer, probe, overload, bypass rate limits or paywalls, or interfere with the service or its security.
• Do not use MajorWorth for anything unlawful, deceptive, harassing, hateful, discriminatory or infringing, and do not upload malware.
• Do not automate access without our written permission, create accounts in bulk, or misrepresent who you are.
• Do not use MajorWorth to make employment, admissions, credit or other consequential decisions about other people.

• Free tier: major Overviews, browsing and research features are free. Free allowances may change.
• MajorWorth+ (your Personalized Plan): a one-time payment of the price shown at checkout (currently $10), plus tax where applicable, for 30 days of access.
• No auto-renewal: MajorWorth+ does not renew or charge you again. When your 30 days end, you can choose to buy again.
• Refunds: payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, or at our discretion for a clear billing error or duplicate charge. Contact deaznunoois@gmail.com within 14 days of the charge.
• Parent payment links: anyone who pays through a link you send pays for your access under these Terms.
• Price changes: price changes apply only to future purchases.
• Payments are handled by our third-party payment processor under its own terms. MajorWorth does not store your full card details.

MajorWorth is evolving. We may add, change, limit or remove features, data or content at any time. Some features are marked coming soon and may never ship. If we materially reduce a paid feature you are actively paying for, you may cancel and, where required by law, receive a pro-rated refund for the unused period.

You may stop using MajorWorth and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your use creates legal risk or harms other users or the service, or if we discontinue MajorWorth. On termination, your license to use MajorWorth ends; sections 6, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 survive.

MajorWorth is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty about the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or reliability of data, AI output, scores or availability. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MajorWorth and its owners, employees and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost wages, tuition or education costs, student debt, lost data, or any decision you make about your major, school, money or career. Our total liability for all claims relating to MajorWorth is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or fifty US dollars ($50).

You will indemnify and hold MajorWorth harmless from claims, damages, losses and reasonable legal fees arising from Your Content, your use of MajorWorth, your posts about MajorWorth, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and MajorWorth agree to resolve any dispute through binding individual arbitration administered in Dallas County, Texas under the rules of a recognized US arbitration provider, rather than in court, except that either party may bring a claim in small-claims court or seek injunctive relief for intellectual-property misuse. You and MajorWorth waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class, collective or representative action. You may opt out of arbitration by emailing deaznunoois@gmail.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law where you live, including the right to bring a claim in your local courts if that law requires it.

If you believe content on MajorWorth infringes your copyright, email deaznunoois@gmail.com with the work involved, the URL, your contact details, and a statement of good-faith belief and accuracy. We remove infringing material and may terminate repeat infringers.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in a merger or sale of assets. We may update these Terms and will change the "Last updated" date; material changes will be announced in the product or by email, and continuing to use MajorWorth after they take effect means you accept them.
